I have received a number of requests to collect my downtime system posts in a single document, so I have put one together, which collates the main information. It summarises the content from the following posts, with some modifications:
The main changes from the original posts are the omission of some of the background discussion, a minor revision of the General Events Table and expansion of the downtime example I gave.
You can download the document from here. As usual, I have made PDF and Word versions available. The tables are also available in Excel, including a functioning Downtime Record Sheet.
Although the content is reasonably comprehensive, it should be borne in mind that it is an aggregation of notes exploring the idea of downtime, and not a carefully considered and playtested system. In addition, for purposes of consistency it incorporates relevant systems that already exist in WFRP1. Had the system been constructed entirely from scratch, it would have taken a somewhat different form.
I have some further thoughts to share on downtime, so I may return to this subject in future, if there is interest.

Thanks for that downtime document. Just discovered after searching for some different takes on how to handle downtime. I should be able to get some good use out of it!
